Are you looking for experience in a back-office setting, learning about and be provided exposure to the loan servicing processes within a financial institution? If so, then the Loan Servicing Intern position at Altra Federal Credit Union may be a great fit for you!Altra's Loan Servicing Department is seeking a Loan Servicing Intern to provide support and gain exposure to core Loan Servicing functions. Responsibilities will include:Building and maintaining relationships with sales, underwriting, processing and closing staffAssisting with loan modifications, catching any errors that could take place, problem solve and resolve any issues with those loans that may ariseAssist with tasks related to titling, including lien perfection and lien releasesPerform basic file maintenance on member filesProvide loan documentation to members as requestedThe Loan Servicing Intern position is a part-time temporary position; 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday with hours and days based on the candidate's schedule of availability. The internship will run for twelve (12) months, depending on the workload needs and hours of availability of the student. There is potential to renew the internship for an additional year with mutual consent. This internship will take place at Altra's Operations Center in Onalaska, WI.To be considered for the Loan Servicing Intern position, you are required to have a High School diploma, GED/HSED and must be a current student pursuing an advanced degree for consideration into the internship program. Finance, Accounting, or Business Management majors preferred. Altra would prefer you have a minimum one (1) year of office, financial institution, or customer service experience.Why join the Altra team?
